Subject: Great show, OK sound
I give it a 5 for performance and 3 for recording/sound. The bass was incredibly loud (and awesome) at the show and seems to have overwhealmed the rest of the music in the recording. However, play this on a good system with with a serious woofer and enjoy! The mix also seems to improve a bit as the show goes on.

Subject: too low
saw them at revolution hall a couple months ago and was psyched to see a new show up, but thru the inexpensive computer speakers the sound is too low. can't hear vocals and I have the sound all the way up!! the JBB recording of the same night is the same way. but thanks for getting this up here. better than not hearing it!! more GPGDS!!!!!!!

#what sounds to be mic static (or just static in general) is not, but rather the sound of gaffer tape being pulled and torn during higher ground dub (gpgds2009-01-17d1t01) & the beginning of one source (gpgds2009-01-17d1t02)
